After a long absence, I’m BACK

(you’ll see that the blog headline is a bad pun)

So, it’s been a little over a year since my last blog post here, but now I’m back. It has been a full and busy year for me personally and for my firm. However, it has not been a busy year for my blog for several reasons.

_____

Here’s a bit of what I’ve been up to over the past year:

  • Back surgeries. This started my break from blogging. In May 2016, I developed a condition (called SDAVF if you really want to know) that pressed on my sciatic nerve. Lots of tests, procedures, surgery, and pain medications later, I’m happy to report that all is well and I’m feeling great.
  • Focus on my clients. With a limited schedule due to my health, all of my professional focus was spent taking care of my existing clients and their needs. Educating others had to temporarily take a back seat.
  • Website redesign. I had a lot of time to think. Who most needs what I offer and who do I most enjoyed working with? As a result, you’ll see now that my website focuses on the needs of divorced and widowed women. I will still continue to work with other clients, but these women in transition need a trusted voice to financially guide them.

Over this break, I’ve continued to jot down ideas and articles to share! My commitment is to post great content once a week, whether it be an original post, a relevant article, or the occasional off-topic post. Make sure and subscribe to continue receiving this important content!

I work with recently widowed women looking for a different kind of relationship with a financial adviser. No products sold, no costs hidden, and no pressure for hasty decisions - all for a clearly disclosed fixed fee. For those women wanting the patient guidance of an experienced professional paid only to help them, III Financial offers a distinctive alternative to typical insurance agents, investment managers, and wealth managers.
